Leo Goodmanson

& Inhale Indigo

Leo is a passionate, trauma informed Somatic Bodywork Practitioner, Yin & Ashtanga Yoga Teacher and a queer Artist.

He concentrates on customized hands-on Body Work, Breath Work , Yoga Nidra, Guided Meditation & Sound healing.

He is here to guide you on a path towards calming your nervous system, building mind-body connection and deep relaxation. To help remind you of tools you already have with in you.

Growing up, he struggled with severe anxiety, stomach issues, and constant pessimism, often feeling depressed and unwell. Finding yoga after going thru a health challenge, transformed his life— “I started feeling connected to my body for the first time.”,

The practice of movement, breath, intention, gratitude, & connection shifted his mindset and inspired him to learn, teach and share the tools that saved him.

Leo’s extensive training began in 2017 where his first month in Bali provided over 200 hours of Ashtanga Yoga training with Kula Collective.

A few years later, he went back to Bali with Kula for a 100 HR Yin & Breath YTT, an isolation meditation retreat in the jungle valley “Yoga is Medicine”, where he was taught in a 2 on one intensive program (two teachers and Leo) , experiencing Les Valley with a strict schedule 1 hour pranayama (breath work) and 2 hour asana (movement practice) morning and night. He had a bed, mosquito net and roof, and eating only food from the land, confronted with facing life with out distractions. Learning to surrender.

After that, He studied massage at the National Holistic Institute and began working as a Flexologist at StretchLab (one on one assisted stretching). His personal practice led him to Breath Work and Meditation and became a facilitator through a 50 HR YTT with Alex Nashton in 2023. Later that year he was certified in Sound Healing 1&2. Leo recently graduated from Alex Nashton’s Yoga Nidra 40 HR teacher training in April, 2024. Currenlty, Yoga Nidra is his personal favorite practice to facilitate. He is looking forward to continuing his education and growing in his field.

Navigating through personal physical & mental health experiences has led him to develop a unique, inclusive and empathetic teaching style. Born breach with both of his hips dislocated, a life time battle with anxiety and depression and his experiences as a queer trans human gives him a different perspective and approach to self love, healing and trust.

Combining breath work, intentional movement, postures, guided meditations, sound, and optional hands on adjustments to foster deep relaxation and surrender are some of the ways that he can assist you in re-connecting to your body.

Encouraging exploration at the edge of discomfort, Leo provides a safe space for students to get curious about their sensations, express themselves fully, and embrace self-compassion.

Leo has dedicated his life to helping people feel good & safe in their bodies.

“your relationship to yourself is directly related to your relationship with your family, friends, strangers and everything else in the external world.”

By building mind- body connection, you can understand how to regulate your nervous system, feel safe, at peace and learn to come back to love, truth, gratitude.

The tools you need are already inside of you; this is just a reminder. Let’s unlock them together!

I n d i g o :

To breathe in.

To breathe in fresh oxygen, life force, new beginnings.

You must feed yourself (inhale) before you’re able to give (exhale).

Inhale is also a reminder to pause and re-connect to the weight of your body, sensation of your breath, feel grounded and supported.
